Semer Palace An elegant residence located in the fashionable restaurant and bar district of Kerobokan, just 15 minutes from the international airport and minutes away from the many world-renowned cafés, restaurants and beaches within the same area. Semer Palace was built in the Grand Bali style and is made up of several wings expanding from a centralized living pavilion. Entry to the complex is through a set of large double wooden gates and access to all areas is via a series of slatted teakwood paths and stone steps across lotus pond waterways. From these paths is entry to both bedroom wings - at opposite ends of the main living pavilion.

The chic and simplistically styled living pavilion consists of a large circular room with a dramatic thatched-roof ceiling. An antique teakwood carved-wall sits behind a formal dining alcove, while on the opposite side of the room is an open-air walkway with a beautifully carved stone wall leading to a separate continues-flow plunge pool. The main room also features luxurious cushioned sitting areas against an open-air backdrop with picturesque views across Japanese grass lawns to the swimming pool and rice fields beyond.

Of the two bedroom wings, the two fully air-conditioned master suites are located on the southern side of the villa, both with their own elegant en-suite bathrooms and canopied king-size four-poster beds - made with imported linen.
The upper bedroom has a covered open-air balcony while the lower bedroom integrates a charming open-style breakfast veranda - each bedroom overlooks the sweeping tropical grounds, swimming pool and sunsets to the west.

A second bedroom wing consists of 2 more air-conditioned double bedrooms with a shared fully equipped indoor/outdoor garden bathroom. The wing is completely surrounded with tropical lotus ponds.

Other garden aspects and features include an ancient Hindu temple, a traditional Balinese balé (thatched sun-sheltering pavilion), sun loungers, a 15-meter swimming pool, children’s playhouse and a level lawn area perfect for badminton or croquet.

A separate kitchen area is fully equipped with modern facilities. It has 2 excellent cooks who cater to both local and international cuisines. Stylish dinner parties can also be catered to upon request.

“Semer Palace” has for many years been considered one of Bali’s most luxurious villas available for rental accommodation. It is the “Classic Villa”. Set in beautifully landscaped, tropical gardens with views over terraced rice paddies, the position of the house enables one to enjoy the ocean breezes, as well as the famous Bali sunsets.

Within the gardens there is a temple, bale (traditional Balinese pavilion), sun beds, lotus ponds, 15-meter swimming pool, children’s playhouse, and a leveled lawn area for sports as such as volleyball, or croquet. The house itself is positioned around gardens and ponds with rooms joined by canopied walkways. Within the guest wing there are two bedrooms (one with a canopied queen bed and the other with two double beds, all with bedrooms with air-con, ensuite bathrooms, TV and DVD. In the other wing two master bedrooms are situated with similar layouts, one being upstairs and the other downstairs with balconies, sitting area and large dressing rooms and bathrooms.

The circular entertaining area/ living room and dining alcove have a spectacular outlook and a covered walkway, which leads to a carved stone wall sculpture and continuous flow indoor splash pool with adjacent opium bed for relaxing. The kitchen and pantry wing is fully equipped to cater for preparation of international cuisine.
